I still see you when my eyes are closed And tell me why I can't let you go I still smell you
inside of my clothes Oh, honey... I can't love anybody but you, oh, honey... *Depressed little
one-shot...the song's good;)

1. Honey
--------

*Memories haunting my evenings,*

*Eyes watching me through the moon*

*I hope my good days aren't over*

*Not so soon....*

*I never have seen an angel*

*I gave up watching the sky*

*Whisper softly to me honey*

*But don't lie, don't you lie*

He wandered down the dark hallways of the abandon ruins, the stars overhead his only guide. He
averted his gaze to the ground - because the stars are too painful to look at as they only remind
him of…her.

This had become a nightly routine since starting the dig in Southern Greece. He had done one of
the things she had always loved - discovering something new. Ancient Ruins had always been one of
her favorite subjects and she had dragged him along to see the Colosseum, the Parthenon, the Great
Pyramid of Giza, and other ancient structures. He was living in her memory…but it would never be
her.

*I still see you when my eyes are closed*

*And tell me why I can't let go*

*I still smell you inside of my clothes*

*Oh, honey*

*Someday I'll go for the glory*

*I'll conquer everyone's fears and*

*For once the ending of the story won't be tears*

*I have seen too much betrayal*

*I have heard too many lies*

*Someday I'll be purple lightening in the skies*

He had avoided his world since she had…gone. He'd done what he had been born to do, and
after he'd accomplished that, there was nothing left of him but a shadow of what he had once
been, what he had once had.

He refused to betray his promise to her…he had the world offered to him, but he turned it down
because it no longer mattered. It was surprising how betrayal had torn his life apart. Since the
day he was born he had been betrayed…but those times were over now. No more lies. She was gone and
he would have to stop lying to himself and learn to live again.

*I still see you when my eyes are closed*

*And tell me why I can't let you go*

*I still smell you inside of my clothes*

*Oh, honey...*

*I can't love anybody but you, oh, honey...*

*I was alone, I was broken ehh*

*I needed someone to love*

*Your love was sticky like honey*

*Your love was sticky like honey*

*I said your love was sticky like honey*

She pulled him out of his self pity and his grief. She saved him from himself, to only have him
get her killed barely two years later. She risked everything for him; her life, her happiness, her
future, her friends, and her family, all to have it be taken just as they began their lives.

It seemed like yesterday…the anger and the hurt still with him. But now, more than ever, the
emptiness had taken over him and there was no one to pull him back…because she was gone and so was
he.

*I still see you when my eyes are closed*

*And tell me why I can't let go*

*I still smell you inside of my clothes*

*Oh, honey... woooo oyea*

*I can't love anybody but you, I'm afraid*

*Yea but I know it's true*

*I can't find no one sweeter then you*

*Oh, honey........*

*See you, feel you, touch you…can't let go of you*

*Honey...*

**Author's Note:** I know it's weird and not that great…but if you get the chance,
listen to the song…it's called “Honey” by Bonnie Mckee. Thanks, Bye. Sarah
